2021 DAYTONA BOOK DRIVE

The chill is in the air, the leaves turn to stone- they fall, fall, fall, down, down, down. Almost time to head indoors with a book and start reading (and avoid those rock-hard leaves hitting your head). Bring the kids in too with their new, and different school library book. It’s great to have school back in and a vast library for them to choose from.

The Daytona Homes and Edmonton Public Schools Foundation Book Drive is winding down and it’s been going very well. We are just shy of our goal of 250 books but have some time to get there and help stock the shelves of those five certain libraries.

Kyla Amrhein, Director, Edmonton Public Schools Foundation says:

Libraries are one of the greatest tools that our educators have, arming both them and their students with access to new places, great ideas, impactful people, and times, and importantly - inspiration for expanding active imaginations. Just like a student's other interests, their interest in books varies. Having a robust library, overflowing with books of all types and genres, supports curiosity and discovery for every student.

Here at Daytona Homes, we couldn’t agree more. So many books for young people have such great morals and tales to tell and worlds to explore. If you haven’t already done so, there’s still time to stop at one of our show homes and drop off a book from the recommended book list!
